Nano Brows

Microblading & Shading

Powder Brows

microblading, nano brows, combo brows, powder brows

Microblading replaces sparse individual hairs for a very natural result. This brow technique uses pigment to create hyper-realistic hair-like strokes. The pigment is implanted into the skin manually using a hand-held tool during your brow session. The device is crafted of several tiny needles that add a semi-permanent pigment to the skin. The microblade goes deeper into the skin’s epidermis (upper layers) to help create a natural-looking effect.

Your ideal brow shape is achieved one stroke at a time. Microblading creates incredibly natural-looking brows, with each stroke mimicking real eyebrow hair.

✅ Last 12-18 Months depending on skin type
✅ Best on normal/dry skin. If you have semi oily to oily skin we recommending adding shading or doing the ombre powder brows for best result.
✅ Previous PMU correction will be an added charge of $100-$150. Please email us a photo before booking an app

Powder Brows

Ombre Powder Brows give the look of gradient shaded makeup that can be as subtle or as bold as you prefer. Ombre shading uses a small machine to position very thin dots of pigment into the skin to create a 100% customizable look. Brows look most like powder makeup – hence the name Powder Brows. With this method, the pigment isn’t placed as deep into the epidermis as Microblading, but it creates a more defined, solid look than microblading alone.

Ombre Powder Brows can also cover old microblading, semi-permanent makeup, or cosmetic tattooing that has (somewhat) faded.

✅ Great for all skin types
✅ Typically last 2-3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare
✅ Color will fade 30%-40% lighter into a soft powdery look

✅ Make up look that is smudge proof, water proof and sweat proof

Who Is It Best For?

Ombre Powder Brows are ideal for someone who:

  • Likes the look of powder-filled brows
  • Wants a soft and natural look
  • Has sensitive or more mature skin
  • Has oily skin, acne-prone skin, or enlarged pores
  • Wants to create a stronger shape to their brows
  • Wants to add definition or darken their brows
  • Doesn’t want to use makeup to fill in their brows

Nano Brows

Nano blading is more similar to Microblading than Ombre Powder Brows. Nano Brows fill in scarce, thin brows for a thicker appearance. Nano Brows use a smaller needle with a hand-held machine to deposit pigment into the epidermis to create natural-looking hair strokes. The super-fine needle creates hair-like tattoo strokes that can thicken the look of the brows and change the overall shape of your brow.

The small needle allows for excellent precision and accuracy to give you natural-looking results.

✅ Great for all skin types
✅ Typically last 1-2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare
✅ Color will fade 30%-40% lighter

Who Is It Best For?

Nano Brows are ideal for someone who:

  • Is looking for natural, crisp results
  • Has thicker or more oily skin

Do Brow Procedures Hurt?

In general, all Permanent Makeup Procedures can be a little painful. You can expect it to hurt more than a traditional brow wax or tweezing, but we can use numbing cream to help ease any discomfort.

At the same time, the process is considered a lot less invasive than a conventional tattoo and generally is much less painful.

How Long Does it Take?

Every treatment time will be unique for each customer. After all, no two brows are alike. With that being said, each procedure usually lasts around one to three hours, including drawing and preparing your dream brows.

We definitely don’t like to rush here. Our number one priority is to give you flawless brows.

How Long Does it Take to Heal?

Everyone is different, and your healing process is individual. Typically Microblading can take around 4 to 5 weeks to heal fully. Ombre Powder Brows can take around 3 to 4 weeks to heal, and Nano Brows can take around 4 weeks.

The time it takes to be healed entirely will vary from person to person, but you can expect your brows to have their final color after around 4 to 5 weeks.

Do I Need a Touch Up?

A free touch up session is imperative to achieve an optimal result. After your initial session your artist will schedule your free touch up session for no less than 4 weeks and no later than 10 weeks. Colors will fade significantly (30%-40%) as your skin heals, (may peel and scabs). A touch up session necessary to “perfect” any imperfections and add more color to areas that may have faded more than others.

How Often Do I Need a Touch Up?

It depends on your skin type, life style and preferences. Your brows will get lighter and lighter overtime and there are many factors that contribute to how quickly your brows will fade. Brows will fade quicker for those that have oily skin or have a lot of sun exposure. Normally we recommend a yearly touch up for a color boost to keep your brows fresh.

How Long Does a Touch Up Session Take?

The time it takes for a touch up session varies from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the condition of your brows. A touch up session is much shorter than the initial session because your shape is already there and only certain areas will need to be fixed.

How Long is The Touch Up Healing Period?

The healing time for a touch up is usually much shorter than the initial session because it is less intense and there is less trauma to the skin. You can expect the healing period for a touch up to be about 7 days and there is usually very little to no scabbing.

 How Do I Get Started?

Our Brow Artists customize every treatment for each client. We base your brow procedure on your desired look, skin type, skin tone, and bone structure to give you beautiful brows.

We hope this helps you choose which brow method is best for you before you head in for your appointment. As always, we’re always here if you need more advice, want a recommendation, or have any questions about getting your perfect brows!

✅Best on normal/dry skin. If you have semi oily to oily skin we recommending adding shading or doing the ombre powder brows for best result.

Yes, we are licensed/insured by the state of Connecticut (License No. TAT.000409).

One of the most frequently asked question is can I get my eyebrows wet after my microblading procedure? The answer is yes, you should rinse your eyebrows with water or baby soap a few times a day. However, don’t soak your eyebrows in water for a long period of time or have running water on your eyebrows for a long period of time. When showering try to avoid as much water from the eyebrows as possible for the first few days.

Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hairstroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

Micro-shading is adding additional color on top of the microbladed eyebrows to create a darker “make up” look.

Ombré Shading gives an enhanced look to your micro-bladed eyebrows with two different brows color where the front of the brow is light and gradually gets darker at the tail.

Phibrows & 3D Microblading are the both microblading with different stroke pattern. PhiBrows has a more distinctive stroke patter to mimic the natural growth of real hair. It has more smaller strokes vs. 3D microblading, where the strokes are longer. PhiBrows is recommended for people with very little hair on their eyebrows.
Still not sure which style suites you best? No worries, we will go over with you during your appointment and make the appropriate recommendation to fit your style.

It is important to wash the area regularly. After washing you should dab the eyebrows dry using a clean towel and also give healing ointment 2-3 times a day.

Do not wear any makeup on the eyebrows for the first two weeks. Chemicals in the makeup and cleansers can change the color of the pigment. Moreover, it also affects the healing process. You can wear make up but not on the eyebrows.

We use Anaesthetics (numbing cream) to lessen the pain. The pain level depends on your personal pain tolerance. On average from a 1-10 level it would be a 4-5. Think of it like a paper cut.

Permanent makeup colors should be selected to compliment a person’s skin tone, hair, and eye color. A conservative approach is best because it is easier to make an existing color darker versus lighter in your follow-up appointment. Colors will always look darker and more intense immediately following a procedure (up to three days) then on the fourth day, they will lighten at least 40- 50%. Then over the next four week, the color will gradually lighten and soften. Please allow 6 weeks BEFORE you have your touch-up treatment.

It is semi-permanent. Microblading can be last for 12 to 18 months depending on the skin types. If you’re looking for a more permanent alternative to Microblading, ask us about powder brows.

Yes it is okay to get them wet (we recommend quickly washing your eyebrows for the first few days. However, DO NOT soak your eyebrows in water i.e swimming, long showers. Getting them wet may cause premature lifting of your scabs and increase the chance of infections and loss of pigment. You must keep them dry to avoid complications and undesired results such as smudgy blurred lines, scar tissue, and uneven pigment.

Immediately after, the area will be EXTREMELY dark and gets darker over the next 2 days as a scab forms in the area. 30-50% of your pigment will be in the scabs.

Over the next 7-14 days your scabs should flake off bit by bit. Some people scab in light flakes and some develop a thick scab. Everybody is different, but whatever you do, do NOT pick at the scabs and make sure you read through and follow the AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS properly to obtain the best results. If the scabbing phase is not over by 14 days, please continue your Aftercare instructions until scabs are completely gone.

After the scabbing phase is over, you will see that the color of your pigment appears foggy and muted in color because a layer of skin has grown over the pigment to seal it in. Not to worry, over the next several weeks your skin will regenerate and the pigment will be more vibrant in color.

The complete healing process takes at least 6 weeks which is when the true orientation of the pigment will show. For most people, there shouldn’t be too much of a problem going to work or being out in public, as long as you’re good at following aftercare instructions. However, some people may develop thicker scabs and have minor swelling. You may take an Advil or apply an icepack after your treatment to reduce swelling and discomfort.

It usually takes 2 sessions for desired results. That’s why one free touchup is included and is strongly recommended. Additional touchups (at a minimum charge) may be necessary to achieve desired results as everyone heals differently and many factors can lead to varied results. The first appointment is about structure, design, and building hairstrokes. The touchup is about seeing how the skin heals and retains pigment, as well as making any necessary adjustments to achieve better symmetry and volume If you don’t feel the need for it, then it is not necessary.

All our microblading tools are single-use, come in a sterilized package and are disposed of after each client. Implements such as gauze, cotton swabs, etc. are single-use and pre sterilized in an autoclave and disposed of after each client. Gloves and mask are worn at all times during the procedure and disposed of after each client. All stations are thoroughly disinfected with Caviwipes after each client

A typical Microblading appointment is 2 hours. A touch up appointment can be any where from 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on the client and the amount need touching up.

Step 2 – Measuring

The Microblading artist will measure and mark your face using several different measuring tools to help achieve the best proportions and symmetry for your bone structure.

Step 2 – Shaping
